Unitech Motors was registered in 2011 as a Close Corporation, Motor Car Service Centre. The name Unitech was created as a shortened word from Unique, Technical Passion, We are technical, passionate in service and repairing at a unique time frame, costs to service and also professionalism. In terms of the founding statement Unitech Motors provides repair and maintenance services to range of vehicles both passenger and truck. The business is owned and managed by Michael Ntsane whom started working at John Williams Motors in Welkom where he perfected art of service excellence. He won several awards including the Mercedes Benz 2010 Service Excellence Award, Not only that but Michael developed the love of fixing cars at the age of eight and started laying fingers on actual cars at the age of nine years old and continued shaping his love in the automotive industry.

The business started in 2005 in a humble manner of servicing one car per week at home garage on Saturdays of friends and family whilst on a permanent employment at John Williams, the only Mercedes Benz Car dealership in Welkom. The number increased greatly over five-year period but was formally incorporated in 2011 as a close corporation in terms of Close Corporation Act of 1984. Upon registration the company performed remarkably well in terms of achievement of goals. The underlying factors for its success came from the fact that the team had the drive for endless service excellence hence our vision.
